| Hello everyone, We are really happy to announce our next Cambridge SQL user group event which will take place on Wednesday, 24th of March at Red Gate (map). You can now register on this page. We are really excited as we have a fantastic speaker: Brad M. McGehee who will be talking about “How to use SQL Server 2008 Performance Data Collector to Analyze Query Performance”. Brad is a Database Administrator (MCSE+I, MCSD, and MCT [former]) with a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration, living in Hawaii (yes, Hawaii!). He is currently the Director of DBA Education for Red Gate Software and a Microsoft SQL server MVP with over 15 years of experience and over 6 years training experience. If you’d like to know more about him, please check out his website on www.bradmcgehee.com or have a look at some of his books on www.sqlservercentral.com/Books But what more do we have for this event? Well, we have the traditional SQL Nuggets for starters (would you like to present one? Drop us an email!), a short presentation from Red Gate, some drinks and pizzas as always, and on this occasion we have introduced a new section called “Let’s talk about…” where you can propose to talk about ANYTHING, whether is SQL related or not. This is something similar to the .NET user group structure so that we can also cover other subjects that interests you. The agenda of the evening will be: | 6.00 – Intro 6.15 – SQL Nuggets 6.45 – Sponsor Presentation (Red Gate) 7.00 – Break 7.30 – Brad M. McGehee: “How to Use the SQL Server 2008 Performance Data Collector to Analyze QueryPerformance” 8.15 – “Let’s talk about...” 9.00 – End. | Well, that’s about it! We really look forward to seeing you there!!! SQLSocial people |
